Weekly Menu 6/16 – 6/21

Okay folks — it’s that time again!  Every once in a while I like to share our weekly eats with you.  I figure this will support you in the following ways:

1)  Introduce you to some fellow bloggers that I like to follow for inspiration.

2)  Give you an idea of what the heck we eat; I know people are nosey enough to explore this.  Use it as reference, comparison, etc.

3)  Help motivate you in the menu planning process — maybe you’re just stuck and need a few suggestions?

Who knows.  For whatever reason — I like telling you folks what we’re eating.  As I’ve mentioned before, I do try and experiment with my own recipes when I can.  Right now we are in the process of moving, so my menus are focused around simple and easy.  The best way to do that?  Take the guess work out of cooking, write down exactly what you’re making, and shop for ONLY those things.  Save money; save time.  Win, win.

Here are our eats for the week along with links to give credit where credit is due.  Some things have been used only as inspiration, and others the recipe will be followed exactly.  Do what you will with them, and enjoy!


Sunday:  Zesty Ranch Pork Chops w/ mashed cauliflower


Monday:  Gyro Taco Salad with Tzatziki Guacamole — p.s. I am super in love with Health-Bent’s blog right now.


Tuesday:  Lemon Chesapeake Baked Salmon w/ roasted asparagus (recipe will be posted soon)


Wednesday:  Chicken-apple sausages with brussels sprouts (quick meal to take to work)


Thursday:  Hawaiian BBQ Bacon Burgers w/ sweet potato fries — because I love Health Bent, and because I love bacon, and because I have this new BBQ sauce to try out 🙂


Friday:  Hibachi Sesame Chicken with Ginger Dressing  — I warned you.
