Sometimes you just want finger foods. Whether it be for a party, football season, picnics, whatever — tasty little gems that you can eat with only your hands are the best. These tartlets may be small, but they are big when it comes to flavor.
One of my favorite pre-paleo indulgences was a good ol’ bucket of fried chicken. Who doesn’t adore taking a bite out of a chicken leg that is flavorful and juicy on the inside — while being crunchy and flaky on the outside? Ugh..heaven! Now that I avoid gluten, and most grains — I don’t frequent many KFC or Popeye drive-thrus. BUT…I have a terrific oven-baked fried chicken recipe that you can make at home. It will certainly satisfy you and your family!
This recipe incorporates so many of my favorite things!! Since I was a girl I have adored chili and in my opinion when it comes to nachos — nothing could make me happier. This recipe idea came from incorporating those two loves. Sometimes we like to make nachos with plantain chips, but getting them thin enough and frying them until they’re crispy can be a tedious task. I decided to come up with something that would be easier, and yet satisfy that familiar craving.
One of my stand-by meals each week is chicken salad. Not only is it easy to prepare, but you can make a large batch of it. We enjoy having it on hand through out the week for quick lunches. If you have a favorite gluten-free bread recipe you can make sandwiches with it. Our favorite way to eat it is piled on top of a bed of baby spinach. But don’t get me wrong — often times it is best just straight out of the bowl.
Over the last 2 years my interest in natural hair care has widened greatly. What I thought initially was that I would simply cleanse my hair with products that were free of harmful chemicals. But when I saw how my hair was starting to look — my gears transitioned from not only wanting healthy hair, but wanting beautiful hair.
Anyone who thinks that salads are boring — hasn’t had an awesome salad! Well, let me assure you that this new salad recipe is FAR from boring. It is loaded with flavor, has great texture, and is a completely balanced meal. What more could you ask for in a salad?
Hello everyone! I am so pleased to announce that I am a couple months shy of my 2-year anniversary with natural hair care. It has been quite a journey. If it weren’t for my persistence and determination it would have been easy to give up a long time ago! I have to admit that the Morrocco Method hair care line really helped me reach the finish line.
Hey everyone! Last week I updated you on a project that I have been working on called the Healthy Fat Loss Inner Circle. After a successful week we are getting another group registered to start Sunday, March 8th. If you have not registered yet, now is the time because I’ve got a fantastic promotion to share with you!
Sometimes great food…just happens on accident. This omelet is one of those acts of unexpected greatness. Jason woke up craving an omelet and I’ve never been one to deny my man of the food he wants (unless he desires Hot Cheetos — I usually throw a fit about him wanting those.) Okay, yes, I used to be in love with them too…but they’re so bad for you!!
